ALL SCHOOL:
UPDATE!!! NEW ID CARD OPPORTUNITY!!! We have heard from the camera company and will not have the camera available to take ID photos until next Thursday but it will be in-house at that point and available as needed. Thank you for your patience. See Rachel in the business office beginning Thursday 9/25.

UPDATE!! JUNIORS:  Registration for PSAT has been extended to TUESDAY 9/23 at 3:15 p.m.  Sign up in the Business Office; fee is $20. Those who opt out of this test on Oct. 15 will attend classes periods 5 and 6 on a regular Wednesday bell schedule.

The last day to drop a class without a Withdraw/Fail on your transcript is September 23rd.

Salvador Molly’s “Fun Raiser” continues through the end of September!  Mention Cleveland H. S. when you dine at the Milwaukie Ave. location and 10% of the price of your meal will be donated to CHS.  And this Tues., 9/23 is Double Benefit Night, when 20% of the total evening’s precedes will come our way!  “Pirate Cookin’, free peanuts, carnival service and a boatload of fun!”

Tuesday 9/23 is National Voter Registration day!! Did you know that you can register to vote at age 17? Come to the main hallway at lunch on Tuesday to register at our table and help us reach a national goal of over 300,000 new voters! Contact junior Camille M. and Ophelia C. if you would like to help out. Go Democracy!!

Travel to Peru this June and earn college credit! 12 day Service learning trip to Lima, Cuzco, Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley! Any HS student in the district is welcome!  Parent information meeting: Tuesday, 9/23! 6pm in Room 307. Questions: Stop by Rm. 307 or email: ksinner@pps.net​

Volleyball fundraiser: Mark your calendars! Please show your support for Cleveland High Volleyball program by eating at Burgerville both on Wednesday, 9/24 and 10/1, from 5-8 pm. Burgerville is donating 10% of all sales from dine in and take out to the volleyball program. The players will see you there!

IB News: Are you eligible to examine in your IB courses this year? Are you wondering if you should register? Juniors, seniors and parents are invited to attend an informational meeting in the CHS auditorium next Tuesday, 9/23 at 7 p.m. to learn more about the assessment process and the potential benefits of participation.

ZGF Architecture Career Day: Oct. 16 (A Day) Sign up to tour one of Portland’s top architecture firms, enjoy a free lunch and learn about the world of architecture! This event is open to Juniors and Seniors who are interested in what it takes to be an architect, landscape architect, interior designer or urban designer. Get your application in the CCC (Room 213).
